Kimber Kable USB-CU USB Cable
Metallurgy, geometry, dielectric & termination methods can vary greatly in USB cables. Our copper based solutions deliver sonically superior results over “in the box” cables. The difference is clearly audible and closer to Kimber Kable’s definition of musical.
6.1% Silver Plated USB Cable
Reliable data transfer is all important with a digital cable. When downloading files to your MP3 player, or when connecting your PC to an audio system, the quality of your USB cable becomes critical.
Kimber Kable’s USB-CU cable uses copper conductors with an unusually thick 6.1% silver plating to enhance conductivity and signal support. The largest gauge conductors possible under USB specifications are used for both the signal and power conductors.
A high performance nitrogen-infused polyethylene (PE) dielectric is used on the signal conductors to maximize signal integrity. Ferrite noise reduction beads on both ends of the cable prevent interference with the delicate data stream.
The USB-CU is terminated with a USB A-type connector on one end, and a B-type connector on the opposite end.
